Hello friends!!!
I'm back in blogland from the moving period.... we had a week to pack and had to leave all our stuff in storage for another week because our new place wasn't ready yet.
MG started with his new work... he is very happy at it and enjoying it a lot, which (as you all can imagine) makes me truly happy and un-worried!
Then a week laterm we got the new apt, so we had the moving, so we went back to our previous town to pick up all our things and got them into a U-haul truck and drove down here... then the unloading and following unpacking of all our things... and I reasured::: you don't know all you have, until you have to pack it!!!
We have tons of stuff... well not that much! but it was a lot, and certanly it was more than last year when we moved to WL.
Now we are in B-town, nice place to live, very artsy all around and full of art all year long... there is more than 1700 art events in a year!!!!
So yes, we are very happy, he is loving the place, and I think that I'll be very happy with all those galleries and boutiques and suply stores around.
The unpacking took less time than the packing, fortunately. The moving was on Saturday and by Monday everything was unpacked and in its new place. A fun part in a moving is get to decide where will be the next permanent place of every item that you own.
I'm loving my new place, is an apartment in a second floor, with plenty of natural light and tons of sun in the living room during the afternoons... my studio-office-creative space, is very nice, and I'm very happy with it. I used some vinyl decorations in one of the walls above one desk and I'm VERY pleased and happy with it...
Here a picture!
Very simple, yet fun and bright and I think it gives a good touch at contrast with the (very) white wall. And I also got matching blue and green stand lamps!!!
See you soon from my new home!
